1^st Meeting of the Panel on Phytosanitary Treatments

The Panel on Phytosanitary Treatments met in Paris on 2005-10-10/12. This new Panel succeeded to the Panel on Quarantine Treatments that met until 1991 and drafted many EPPO Standards in the series PM 3. The Panel considered the work done at the global level (draft ISPMs developed by the ICPM Technical Panel on Phytosanitary treatments).

The Panel drafted instructions to authors of future EPPO Standards on Phytosanitary Treatments.

It reviewed the list of existing EPPO Standards and identified needs for revision and updating. It also identified priorities for new Standards to be developed. The Panel will next meet in Vienna on 2006-10-09/11.
