Xanthomonas translucens pv. translucens

Close-up of symptoms caused on flag leaves of a susceptible
soft red winter wheat (cv. FFR 525W) at watery-ripe stage.
Leaf lesions generally appear as short necrotic streaks
unless they coalesce into larger necrotic areas.
Bacterial streak (X. translucens pv. translucens)
on wheat at watery-ripe stage.
   
Symptoms on peduncle of soft red winter wheat cv. Exel.
Unusually large and dark peduncle lesions develop on this variety
in the field even though the leaves are resistant to X. translucens pv. translucens.
